How to Set Up Upload Defaults in the Settings of YouTube Studio

Would you like to learn how to automate your videos links lists and basic information for every video?

Here’s how you do it.

When uploading to YouTube,  you have both the titles and description to fill out on each video. Many people have links and other content that they put in the description in every video and many people just cut and paste the content from a previous video. But this process requires going through several steps.

In this video, I show you how to set your links and basic information in the Upload Defaults in the Settings tab in your YouTube Studio.

Once you create your link lists and other content, you can cut and paste it into the upload defaults so every video you then create will have all of the information already there.  This is a huge time save!

So follow along with me as I show you where you can set your upload defaults.

This is one of the secrets that automates your work flow.

In this video you will learn:

  • How and why you want to create link lists for social media for every video
  • Include a bio or other information that directs people to your other webpages or projects on every video
  • Where to find the Settings  in YouTube Studio
  • How to find the Upload Defaults tab
  • How to set your upload defaults

See? The more you learn, the easier it gets!

When starting out a YouTube channel, many do not realize what it takes to build a channel beyond your family and friends. The big channels make it look so easy.

But in truth, YouTube is not easy nor is it intuitive. Because the big channels appear so successful, it’s easy to think making videos is all it takes to strike it big. YouTube success takes time, consistent progress and patience…..and also learning.

It’s not just about making videos, but what’s behind (SEO) and in front of the videos (Thumbnails) and many other things that many YouTubers don’t think about.

In this video you will learn:

  • How to focus on your ideal client can and what they are searching for
